Protech Construction's permaculture project
A new initiative that embodies our values of sustainability and well-being!
What is permaculture?
Permaculture is an ecological approach that draws on natural models to create sustainable systems. It promotes plant diversity, soil health and waste reduction. In other words, permaculture seeks to work with nature rather than against it.
Our permaculture project focuses on planting and growing berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and redcurrants. We also grow kale, lettuce, basil and tomatoes. These crops not only benefit the environment, they also provide a source of fresh fruit and vegetables for our employees.
Participation and community involvement
We actively encourage employees of all three companies to take part in this project. Whether it’s helping to maintain the crops or simply enjoying the harvested fruit, everyone can find a way to get involved. This project offers a unique opportunity to learn sustainable gardening skills while strengthening ties within our community of business neighbors.
Conclusion
Protech Construction’s permaculture project perfectly embodies our values of sustainability and well-being. We’re proud of this initiative and can’t wait to see the fruits of our labor! We hope this project will inspire other companies to adopt similar practices for the good of our city and our communities.
