Investing in commercial real estate is easier than we think. Many people mistakenly think that this type of investment is out of reach for them. But when you partner with the right people, this type of project can be easy and very profitable in the future.
There are several ways to invest in commercial real estate. Whether you are an investor or a business owner, there are different ways to own real estate. For business owners who have a good business history, who have never owned a building, and who are currently tenants, you have the opportunity to obtain 100% financing for a real estate project for which you will be the occupant. This is called being “owner-occupant”. This way of doing things is the simplest way to own a first building to your credit.
For investors who already have a certain down payment available, it is also possible to join groups of real estate investors to minimize your risk on different projects. This approach allows you to hold shares in several projects and thus diversify your portfolio of assets.
And for the more seasoned, you can of course hold several buildings in your name. But in this case, you become a pure property developer!
No matter what type of investment you want to make, it is always possible to do it alone or in partnership with someone you trust.
